Effective date: April 27, 2026
Shop Royal LLC (“Royal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at shopsroyal.com and the Royal mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Services you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you place an order, create an account, contact support, sign up for our newsletter, or participate in our loyalty program, we collect information such as:
- Name, email address, phone number, and shipping/billing address
- Order details and purchase history
- Loyalty program activity (points balance, tier, redemptions)
- Messages you send us (e.g., support requests, returns)
Payment information. Card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. Royal does not store full card numbers on our servers. We retain only a record of the transaction (amount, last four digits, brand, authorization status).
Information collected automatically. When you visit shopsroyal.com we and our service providers may collect:
- Device and browser information (IP address, user agent, language, referring URL)
- Pages viewed, links clicked, and approximate location derived from your IP address
- Cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below)
2. How we use your information
- To process orders, payments, returns, and shipping
- To create and manage your account and your loyalty program profile
- To communicate with you about orders, account activity, customer service, and (if you opt in) marketing
- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with our legal obligations
- To improve the Services, including measuring how the website is used and which pages or products are most relevant to customers
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and understand site usage. You can manage your preferences through the consent banner that appears on your first visit, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.
- Essential cookies are required for the site to function (authentication, cart, checkout). These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics cookies help us understand traffic patterns and improve the site. You can decline these via the consent banner.
4. How we share your information
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Services (e.g., Stripe for payments, shipping carriers, email service providers, cloud hosting). These providers are bound by contract to use your data only as we direct.
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Royal, our customers, or others.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email orders@shopsroyal.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. The same email address handles both.
6. Data retention
We keep order and account information for as long as your account is active and for a period after that to comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements (typically up to 7 years for transaction records). Marketing preferences are honored until you opt out.
7. Security
Royal uses industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to keep it confidential.
8. Children
The Services are intended for customers 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Royal is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, post a prominent notice on the website.
