These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of shopsroyal.com (the “Site”) and any purchases you make from Shop Royal LLC (“Royal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. By placing an order you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you submit.
2. Products and pricing
We do our best to display each product accurately, including materials, color, dimensions, and price. Because each piece is handmade with natural leather, slight variations in tone, grain, and texture are expected and not defects.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing or product errors and to limit quantities. If a product is mispriced, we will contact you before processing the order and offer the opportunity to confirm at the correct price or cancel.
3. Orders and payment
Placing an order constitutes an offer to buy. We accept the offer when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel orders for reasons including stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or shipping restrictions; in that case any charge will be refunded.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Royal does not store your full card number. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount of your order including tax and shipping.
4. Shipping, returns, and refunds
Shipping options, lead times, and international duties are described in our Shipping policy. Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund policy. Both policies are part of these Terms.
5. Loyalty program
Royal Rewards lets you earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem them at checkout. Points have no cash value, are not transferable, and may expire or be adjusted in cases of returns, chargebacks, or fraud. We may modify or end the program at any time; we'll give reasonable notice for material changes.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at orders@shopsroyal.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to defraud anyone
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Site except as expressly permitted by law
- Submit content that is infringing, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise objectionable
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, photography, logos, designs, software — is owned by Royal or our licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Disclaimers
The Site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Royal disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except as expressly stated in writing for a particular product.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Royal's total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or any product is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Royal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising from these Terms is the state and federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on the Site or emailed to registered customers.
